FALAFEL

Falafel is a traditional Arabic dish . It's a rich protein food and low fat ( its good if your are cut the non veg dish ). It is easy to make . Falafel is good for kids because it is rich with proteins  

 


INGREDIENTS REQUIRED FOR FALAFEL  

1. CHICKPEAS      ------------------------   1 Cup(soaked  over night )

2. ONION            ------------------------    1 Regular size

3. GREEN CHILLY ------------------------    2 Nos

4.GINGER         --------------------------    1/2 Spoon

5.GARLIC     -----------------------------    1/2 Spoon

6.PEPPER POWDER  --------------------      1/4 Spoon

7.RED CHILLY POWDER ----------------      1/2 Spoon

8.CORIANDER POWDER   ---------------   1/4 Spoon

9.CORIANDER LEAFS -------------------    A Pinch

10.SALT   --------------------------------  According to taste 

11.BAKING SODA     --------------------  A Pinch

12.LEMON JUICE  ------------------------ 1 Spoon

13.GARAM MASALA POWER -------------  1/2 Spoon

13.VEGETABLE OIL     ------------------ 



PREPARATION METHOD 


  • MAKE MIXTURE : Add soaked chickpeas ,sliced onion , green chilly, garlic , pepper powder , red chilly powder , coriander powder , coriander leafs , salt , lemon juice , grind well (don't add water because  the soaked chickpeas have enough water )
  • Refrigerate just 1 hour ( it is important step )


  • Add baking soda  , garam masala mix well 
  • Make  small balls
  • Heat the oil add falafel balls

 
  • when the both sides become golden brown colour drain it .

  • Falafel is ready 
  • serve with Mayonnaise  , Kuboos , tomato sauce , etc
