KERALA STYLE CHEMEAN FRY(PRAWNS)

This is a simple  and quick seafood recipe .  It is good with plain rice (Kuthari chor)


INGREDIENTS 


1. PRAWNS         -     250 g

2.GINGER - GARLIC PASTE   - 1 Tablespoon

3.CHILLY POWDER  - 1/4 Tablespoon

4. TURMERIC POWDER - 1/4 Tablespoon

5.ONION (sliced)    -    1 Medium size

6.CURRY LEAFS     - 2 Spring

7.GREEN CHILLY    - 2  (sliced) 

8.COCONUT OIL    -  2-3 Table spoon

9.GARAM MASALA    - 1/2 Spoon

10.SLICED COCONUT - 2 Tablespoon

11. LEMON JUICE    - 1/2 Spoon

12 . SALT   



PREPARATION METHOD 


  • Step 1 : Marinate the prawns with  lemon juice , salt , red chilly powder , garam masala   ,ginger garlic paste , turmeric powder (just 30 Min)  
  • Step 2 : Heat the coconut oil add sliced coconut  , saute just a min
  • Step 3 : Add onion , green chilly  and curry leafs cook well until it become golden colour 
  • Step 4 : Add the marinated prawns 
  • Step 5 :  When the prawns become swirl  ,  add little amout of red chily powder to it 
  • Kerala style  prawns fry is ready , serve with  rice
