TASTY PARIPPUVADA ( DAL VADA)

Parippuvda or dal vada is so tasty , spicy , and crunchy . It is one of the famous snack around south India .   it is very easy to prepare . 



INGREDIENTS 

1. TOOR DAL   - 1 Cup

2.GINGER PASTE - 1Spoon

3.GREEN CHILLY - 2-3 Nos

4.SLICED ONION  - 1 Medium Size (or SHAllOT-10 nos)

5.CURRY LEAFS    - 1 Spring

6. FENNEL     - 1/2 Spoon

7. SALT 

8.COCONUT OIL  -For  deep frying 


PREPARATION METHOD 

  • Soak the dal in water for 2 hours .  drain it after two hours 
  • Take a mixer jar  add the soaked dal , ginger , onion (shallot),green chilly , fennal powder and salt  just grind no need to make smooth paste ( grind with out water ) 

  • Take the mix add curry leafs 

  • Take the mix , make small balls . press the balls with our hand  ( add littile amout of coconut oil in our hand while pressing  ) 

  • Heat the oil 
  • Add the round shaped mix to the hot oil 

  • When both sides become golden colour drain  it .
  • Parippu vada is ready :)
  • serve it with Chutney
